The Most Popular Siding in Pennsylvania

At C3 American Exteriors, we offer three types of siding. These are Fiber Cement, Engineered Wood, and Insulated Vinyl. While there might be overall siding choices that we see more than others, every state  often has their own popular siding. This is usually due to the fact that the weather is different from state to state, and the housing needs change accordingly. We do work in five different states: Maryland. Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Delaware. In this blog we will be looking at the most popular siding in Pennsylvania and why that siding is preferred. If you live in Pennsylvania and are considering updating your siding, this blog is for you!

The most popular type of siding we see in Pennsylvania is Vinyl. Specifically, we install a lot of Certainteed Monogram Vinyl Siding in Pennsylvania. Monogram siding is thicker than its alternatives, and gives a home the look of wood siding without the cost of it.

Insulated Vinyl siding is made of a solid, rigid foam insulation. This keeps it from warping, making it stronger than many alternatives. Vinyl is also amazing when it comes to energy efficiency, and can save you money on energy costs in the long run.

When it comes to the most popular colors used in Pennsylvania siding, we see darker colors used more often. From grays to greens to navy blues, these darker colors are chosen often in Pennsylvania, and they look beautiful!

As you can see, each state has their own preferences when it comes to siding. Stay tuned for more blogs to find out what the most popular siding choices are in the other states we do work in. As always, if you have any questions at all, give us a call so we can answer them for you.

Want to set up a consultation or an inspection? We offer both of these for free!
